Our Yearly Refresher Course:

If you have completed the full Dutch Realtor Training course, you can optionally take an annual refresher course with us. This is, of course, much cheaper than the full course. The refresher course updates participants’ knowledge on topics such as the latest regulations, work documents, industry association matters, legal issues, and construction-related matters.

The refresher course exists because every registered realtor in the Netherlands must complete annual ‘continuing education’ to remain listed in the quality register and to continue carrying the label of that quality register. The quality register we are affiliated with is Dutch Realtor Cert. With a registration with Dutch Realtor Cert, you have many benefits, one of which is that you can gain and maintain affiliation with the Netherlands’ leading industry organization VBO through our sister company VK Makelaars. You can now book the annual refresher course for 2025.

What’s Included:

  • Complete annual refresher course where we update your real estate knowledge on a variety of topics. Think of developments in regulations, work documents, construction advancements, and much more!

These lessons will be available from July 1, 2025, and can be taken anytime and anywhere you like. Please note: you must complete all lessons by January 1, 2026, to maintain your registration in Dutch Realtor Cert.

  • After completing this course, you will receive a certificate. There are no assignments or exams required. With this certificate, you can register for free with the quality register ‘Dutch Realtor Cert’. The role of a realtor in the Netherlands is a ‘free profession,’ meaning you do not need a diploma. Anyone is allowed to work as a realtor in the Netherlands.
  • Upon finishing this course, you should be qualified to work at any real estate company that is willing to hire you, with the exception of companies that are members of the industry organization ‘NVM.’ This is because the NVM has strict educational requirements specific to the Dutch market. In this training, we also provide a list of real estate companies that might be interesting for you.
  • You can, of course, also start your own real estate company, and this training will help guide you through the important steps needed to do so. Additionally, the course provides access to essential working documents and an excellent housing database, offering everything you need to work as a realtor.
  • All of these features make this training a true ‘game-changer’ for the Dutch real estate business!

  • During the Coaching Calls, you will engage in live, interactive sessions with a coach or instructor. These calls are designed to review course material, answer questions, discuss practical applications, and provide personalized feedback. They offer an opportunity to address any challenges you might be facing and to gain deeper insights into the topics covered in the course.
  • Each Coaching Call generally lasts app. 60 minutes. This allows enough time to cover topics, address questions, and provide personalized guidance.
  • While no specific prior education is required, having a basic understanding of real estate concepts can be beneficial. The course is designed to accommodate a range of knowledge levels, from beginners to those with some experience in the field
  • The lessons are designed to be very easy to follow and are highly visual, with plenty of graphical support to aid understanding. Each lesson is structured to be concise and engaging, covering a lot of material in a short amount of time. You can revisit any lesson as often as needed, and it’s often beneficial to review a lesson more than once to fully grasp the content. This approach ensures that the material is accessible to everyone, regardless of their prior knowledge or experience.
  • Essential tools include CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, real estate valuation software and lots of working documents.
  • No, you don’t need to take exams. Our program is designed to encourage self-paced learning and personal responsibility. You can repeat lessons as often as needed and access a wealth of materials, including extra knowledge videos, articles, and weekly coaching calls. Instead of focusing on exams, we trust you to use your time wisely by reviewing lessons, studying materials, and participating in coaching calls. This approach ensures you truly master the real estate profession.
  • Yes, upon completing the course, you will receive a certificate that allows you to register for free with Dutch Realtor Cert. Additionally, if you have at least 6 months of proven work experience, you may be eligible to open your own VBO office through a franchise construction with our sister company, VK Makelaars. This is b.t.w. what makes this course also very interesting for Dutch realtors as well!
